My son Alex has become noticeably more verbal these days. He's all about the reaction that he causes, which of course coming from a 2 year old is absolutely hilarious! He comes out with some of the cutest phrases and quotes and really does keep us on our toes.
Below are some of my favorite quotes - (most are during conversations with his teachers at daycare). I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
Alex - (while getting his diaper changed) “I want Dad to drive an ambulance with Uncle Bobby, Jessica, Michael, and Santa Clause.”
Can you kick a field goal? Alex – “Yeah, I would bring it to the hole!”
When we got ready to go outside, Alex said “I’ll help push the little
guys in the buggy! I’m a big teacher helper!”
Alex – “Lori I had fun with the kids at the park! It was like a party!”
Amanda told the Sprouts they were going to walk and then play at the BIG playground. Alex said "Wow, Amanda that is such a great idea!"
Alex - "I don't like cloudy days!"
After the fire drill Alex said "We all got out! Are the firemen and the trucks happy?"
But my all time favorite happened this past week. My seven month old was gabbing away with his new found voice and just being plain noisy. My husband and I love when he gets all excited since he tends to be a much calmer infant than Alex was. We were laughing and enjoying his good spirits when Alex turned to him and said,
"Nathan, will you shut your big yap!"
I just love the honest nature of a two year old!
